Charllotte Kiddell - Tutor
I started my journey in education back in 2013 with an apprenticeship at Brockhill Park Performing Arts College. I went on to become a Technical Learning Coach within the science department at Pent Valley Technology College, assisting with practical lessons and supporting in classes from year 7 up to year 13. In 2016 I completed a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Forensic Science at the University of Derby and I went on to work at the University of Nottingham as a Teaching Technician in biosciences. In 2018 I began teacher training and I spent a year at The Marsh Academy, learning from the amazing and experienced teachers there, and gained QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in July 2019. I then worked as a science teacher at Wye School, before making the decision to leave and offer individual tutoring in sciences. I have since worked with a number of schools as part of the National Tutoring Programme with Connex Education whilst also working as a supply teacher. In 2023 I completed a Master of Science degree in Forensic Science at the University of Derby.

Passionate about science and learning I love to share information with others. I'm an avid reader of crime fiction and fantasy novels. I love all animals and have a German Shepherd dog called Padfoot (meet her below!).

Padfoot
Padfoot is friendly and bouncy, she runs the show here at CDK Science Tutoring. She likes to play tug and perform tricks (in exchange for yummy treats of course). She can often be found helping me work!
